Pam Ackerman makes each project personal and each room is approached with individuality. Considering her clients’ preferences and lifestyles, the results are rich, layered, individual spaces— ideal settings for gracious living and celebrations with friends and family.
Pam’s experience began at F.I.T. in New York focusing on retail merchandising and textile design. From designing boutiques and ready to wear she moved to Sotheby’s, NY embracing art and antiquities. The migration to interior design was a natural next step.
While designing interiors with the award-winning firm of Diamond Baratta, it was there and through collaboration that life-long relationships with clients, builders, architects, and artisans began. The value of meaningful and trusted relationships are the guiding principles of Pamela Ackerman Interiors today.
While known for her bright take on traditional design, her sophisticated color sense and keen eye for space planning fulfills her client’s goals time and time again. By incorporating cherished items, and layering in well-chosen pieces the result is a personal, functional and beautiful home.
Pam relocated to Minneapolis after spending 18 years in NYC. In addition to her design firm, Pam is currently working with clients to guide them through making holistic choices in their homes. She offers consulting work on thoughtful decluttering, responsible and sustainable decorating.
